Gospel

"To be the recipient
of an unrecognized treasure
at a cost far less than its worth —
I value it all the more for its being undeserved"

It strikes me that of the gifts I have received, the ones I value most highly would be considered of little worth by most of the world, and the greatest victories in my life have not resulted from any effort of mine.

we went out to the christmas market today with my camera and interviewed people about christmas... one of the questions was their most memorable christmas gift, and the next if they had ever recieved anything non-material.. it really is interesting to hear the reactions people give to those questions. the majority had something to do with family. maybe i should post an entry on my blog and ask people....
